Growing up, my mom was always in the gym. She held certifications in various modes of group fitness. Her and my dad encouraged my sisters and I to always stay active. As an adult I had a hard time finding something active and competitive to do. In 2012, I joined a local CrossFit gym. More than a decade later, I'm still at it. I coach because there is a great amount of satisfaction I receive when helping others achieve their goals. If I'm able to give someone a queue or advice that helps them reach a goal, it's better than if I had done that myself
