With a continuously running clock, squat for 60 seconds. Subtract the number of squats completed from 60, and do that many pull-ups in minute two. in minute three, squat again, subtracting the number completed from 60. Do that number of push-ups in minute four. Minute five is squatting again, and minute six pull-ups.
The pattern is squats, pull-ups, squats, push-ups, squats, pull-ups, etc. The goal is to stay within the workout's formula for as long as possible.
Don't do more than 60 squats in any round.

Happy birfday Kelva!
13 minutes, then rolled around on the floor for a while, then watched C-note for a while, then did a 2k row, then walked back over to see that C-Note was still going!

Sweet mother of God, C-note made it happen this morning.
I, on the other hand, am going to pretend that this workout never happened.

Happy B-Day Kelva!
C-Note, I expected you to go for at least 45 minutes...
Posted by: Silverback | February 04, 2010 at 09:15 AM
This should be interesting...
C-note - we can all only hope to be like you one day!

I'm with you Josh...this workout didn't happen!
I only got 5 rounds.
Jen and Andi, way to push it this morning. Ben, nice meeting you.
C-note, I think you're taking drugs. Sick, it's just sick. ;)
Posted by: Katie | February 04, 2010 at 12:44 PM
I want whatever C-note is taking!
Posted by: Billdozer | February 04, 2010 at 03:48 PM
Look everyone, C-Note is a gift from the gods to Atomic CrossFit. His mere presence gives the rest of us mortals something to aspire to.
Posted by: Silverback | February 04, 2010 at 03:53 PM
Damn - if Katie only got 5 rounds, I'm in serious trouble! :)
Posted by: Chrissy | February 04, 2010 at 03:57 PM
You guys crack me up! I'm sure Bravo, Ian and Spec can crank out at least that many rounds...
...the really funny thing is I was wondering why I could barely walk when I was done this morning...until I started counting the number of squats in this WOD.
Oh, and BTW, the secret is a bowl of cereal every night...but don't tell the Paleo gods! ;-)
Posted by: C-note | February 04, 2010 at 04:00 PM
C-Note, did you accidentally leave my name off that list?? ;)
Posted by: Silverback | February 04, 2010 at 04:07 PM
Oh no he didn't.....
Posted by: Gatekeeper <>< -III-------III- | February 04, 2010 at 04:18 PM
No, I didn't want to challenge you, Silverback...you'd probably hurt yourself. ;-)

I am choosing to boycott today's WOD on the grounds that it is unfair. On any normal WOD I take about 50% longer than C-Note, and therefore get to do 50% more work and get a little closer to keeping up with him. In this WOD I would be curled up in a ball in the corner after 5 minutes and C-Note gets to keep going for 29 minutes. That's bull crap. How am I ever supposed to get as good as he is at lifting heavy shit quickly if he gets to work that much longer than me? It's grossly unfair if you ask me and I am exercising my right as an American to boycott. So, in the immortal words of Eric Cartman "Screw you guys, I'm going home."

Just a little rest day fun for me today. Way to kill that one Ben!! You're a total Bad Ass.
Posted by: HeMan | February 04, 2010 at 06:01 PM
I killed the alternate WOD today, oh wait, that was the warmup.
I got 7, but I had a few jumping pullups in there.
Posted by: Shawn | February 04, 2010 at 06:19 PM
9 rds, bad day for me, had to do 25 pullups in the 10th minute to keep going and only got 21. Even my Matt Luther crazy arm squats didn't work.
Great job Stacy and Beth as always!

5000m Row
24:38
Posted by: Nisha | February 04, 2010 at 07:32 PM
It is my first day. It was modified to ring "rolls" (?), knee pushups, and just 10-15 squats, for unknown amount of intervals, followed with 1000 m rowing in 5+ minutes. Having trouble sitting down but at least the room stopped spinning! :-)

thanks C-note for including my name on that list but we both know I cant even come close to what you do.
Besides I hurt my back on the FS and BS work out. I couldnt get out of bed for 3days and still sore as of today.

Happy Birthday Kelva!
Hey Chief that Tonic cake is delicious!!!
Just a little swig(slice) will do ya!

Posted by: Babs | February 04, 2010 at 08:30 PM
9 rds
I had high hopes till I got stuck doing 32 Pull ups in one round.
Beth you are amazing. C-Note your showing was not too shabby either

11 Rounds
2000 m row
Amazed I can walk :)
Posted by: chrissy | February 04, 2010 at 08:39 PM
Oops - I forgot - thin white band :)
Posted by: chrissy | February 04, 2010 at 08:40 PM
My # is 23, not sure what that means, rounds? knee pushups, green band PUs. Very intimidating when it boiled down to me and Teach left. Even more when Grace kept saying "Lower!" and did not count some of my squats. Body numb at the end, even when the green band pimp slapped me, so I didn't feel a thing. The warm-up itself seemed more than normal too. OK, let me stop being a baby. waaa

31 rounds
I think i lost feeling in my legs around round 23, but kept going. I may or may not be able to stand from a sitting position tomorrow.
I could die tomorrow and my life would be complete because i was able to edge out the mighty C-Note and Bravo in one day. It will probably never happen again :)
Matt - "Respect my Auth-ra-ity"
Thanks for all the encouragement 5:00 group and peanut gallery! You guys definitely kept me going. Even when i thought I was going to throw up...
Awesome work happened tonight! Six and 7:00 groups were full of fire breathers!

Good to see Christine very early this morning. She will be a regular with the pacemakers.
Welcome Ben C, Caci and Noel on your first WOD today!
Welcome back 80s girl!
Hang in there Stephen and Josh P! Josh, your comments are too funny, btw.
Hang in there Stephen!
Judy, great to see you work hard on ROM. It will pay off, I promise!
Tris, your left side should be caught up with you right arm strength after a few weeks :-)
Bry, have fun in Tampa!
Outstanding work Teach!

21 rounds - I don't think I will be able to walk tomorrow. The question I can't answer is "why did I do this to myself"?
I treated myself to a hamburger and shake on the way home - it was great!!!
Grace - congratulations on your 31 rounds; I am totally impressed! And you were able to walk away on your own power - I'd have to be carried out.
Posted by: Steve Western | February 04, 2010 at 10:25 PM
.. WOW! I was a little confused when I first read the WOD, and to be totally honest... I still am.
But of course C-note would kill it. Katie told me Raisin Bran every night is his secret! Good job guys. Twin... what are you ranting and raving about? boycott a WOD? That is not very super hero like!
Posted by: She-Ra | February 05, 2010 at 12:10 AM
Crashed last night so here's my late post. 9 rounds but had to stop. My allergy meds dried my throat so much I started gagging and coughing. It wasn't pretty. Anyway, could have gone for a few more rounds but I couldn't do pull-ups and cough at the same time so "BOOO!" to me. :o(
Posted by: Beast (aka JA) | February 05, 2010 at 06:12 AM
Next morning post because I died last night after this WOD.
First WOW....Beth you are a rock star 31 rds!!
I did 13 rounds and couldn't get my 28pullups to continue. Great going head to head with you Chris...you really keep me moving ;)
Posted by: Arnold | February 05, 2010 at 07:01 AM
Steve, Correction on your post. It was Teach who did 31 rounds. Yesterday was my rest day. Besides the fact, she is a Cyborg and I am merely a Klingon Warrior.
Btw, great to see Arnold working out at night for a change. Sugahara is a good pacesetter for you.

Great job sista!
