27:01 RX. Felt good this morning. Great crowd at 0530.

26:13(RX) A little disappointed, shooting for 25 min. or less, but after the last two days I guess I can't be too mad, still got last time by a minute and a half.

Great work goin on in the box today. Everybody was moving fast.

can't wait to see the 8:30 crew tomorrow! I am coming home!!!

Today is my 6th month anniversary with ACF. I wrote down 4 goals that I wanted to achieve by this time:

1. LOSE THE BABY WEIGHT: I have lost 30 lbs in six months and actually weigh lesser than what I weighed before I got pregnant.
2. KIPP: Not really doing it without a band yet, but I have progressed from ring rows to 2 bands, to single green band and to one tan band.
3. BE STRONGER: I didn't write a goal on what I would like to press in 6 months, but my goal is to carry progressively heavier weights.
4. BE ABLE TO RUN A 1/2 MARATHON: It's coming up in January, but I am now able to run 14+ miles.

Jim wrote this few months ago: "The coaches in ACF have the difficult challenge of taking an average person and turning them into a competitive, hard charging, gut-busting, lung burning, lactic loving beast." ACF coaches may have succeeded in converting this average person who has been sedentary most of her life and converted her into something that may resemble what Jim described above. I may not be a beast...but I am consistently training to be one. Or as Chrissy put it in an email last night: "Whoa...who is this muscled out woman? I remember her when she was muscleless. Now she kicks my butt!" One of the greatest compliments ever.
Thanks for letting me rant. ;o)

27:01 (RX) I thought it was 27:00, but I definitely tied with Gris, so I'm putting his time. Only 17 minutes faster than last time.

Good battle with Gris, Lopez and Face, Don't think I'd have went under 30 Mins without you guys there.

Billy - You've been an intern for 2 days and you're already ripping my wall ball form, what are we in for with you? Getting stronger with a better range of motion I guess... hehe. Nice time by the way.

Jeremy...you're a beast.

27:51 (RX)

Awesome job to every one this morning!!! Thanks to Matt, Billy, JB, Dennis, Grace, Kristina, Gris, Lopez, Smokey and every one else I am forgetting for pushing me thru this morning!!! Great job to Kristina, Dennis, and Smokey- ya'll were awesome. I had to explain to my wife this morning that it was just Ms. Wallball who gave me the hickies this morning on my FACE.

Thanks for ranting JA, it lets me know that eventually I can improve...... Congrats on the hard work.

SO PROUD OF YOU SIS!.... all your hard work are paying off :)you're my IDOL!

I see ya, JA!! Keep doing work!

Way to go Beast! (FKA JA). You are awesome and thanks for sharing. Don't want to see you post again without using your new moniker "Beast" Who knew nicknames came so easy? ;-)

Way to go JA - you are looking amazing. Kipping will come soon enough!! Next stop Crossfit spring challenge :)

RX but time not worth posting.
Still delirious... That wall ball is definitely a task for vertically challenged individuals.

Rick, thanks for counting wall balls with me.
Thanks to all for the push.
Great job pacemakers!

G, thanks for everything and telling me I don't have to do 6 rounds. :)

JA, you have progressed so much and I am very proud of you. You are one strong crossfit chick! Crossfit works!

I agree with Sharon!

46:23 20" 14#

It was good to be back in the box. Good job Thundercats!!

Matt L - I thought it was 27:01. I will take 27 min if you will. Will have to check my book tomorrow. I was having a hell of a time catching you and Lopez on the run.

Nice time Billy.

Beast - great motivation. To quote Hannibal Smith "I love it when a plan comes together."

Will see all the 0530 warriors tomorrow morning for the next dose of benchmark pain.

JA - Your hard work at ACF is paying off in a big way. Just think about where you'll be in another 6 mos.

I'm really bummed that a last minute meeting this eve will keep me from doing today's WOD. I'm sure the rest of this week's WODs will be fun though...

JA, reading your rant took my breathe away and brings tears to my eyes! You're not only a "beast" but also a "machine"! So proud of ya!

Dennis, another milestone, nevertheless!

Smokey was working so hard that he couldn't even get a sound out when he talked.

Diezel Tank, good to see you back this week!

Holly L and Heather H joined the Thundercats today, while some of the Thundercats joined the Pacemakers!

Great job morning peeps! Lots of hard work!

JA, I love doing a WOD with you! You're so competitive and strong. 14+ mile run? WOW! You'll definitely be ready in January. I also got to see your pull-ups last night and your kips will come very soon.

Thanks you guys!!! I have to give our coaches the credit for helping me meet my goals. We all know that we can't get this kind of support from any globo out there. Also, I know that ACF has a special tribe of athletes that inspire and challenge me in and out of the box. You all rock!

Beast, first what an amazing set of goals without having any muscles ;) Great Job.

40:17 Milestone crying!!!
(20",14#)
There is no crying for the schwarzenagger... I don't like loosing control.... but, after two very nasty ladies Helen and Eva put me in my place Monday and Tuesday. Kelly tore me up, the stupid thing is it happened with 10 WB left in the last round??? Agh.....Go figure??

Don't worry Jim I am already signed up for tomorrow and Friday. I want to see this in 4-6 months and laugh at these girls!!

Grace what can I say.... in the immortal words of a beer commercial from our generation...."I love you man!!!"

You are helping turn me into someone that I have alway wanted to be. Thank you.

WOW Arnold. That compliment even choked me up. G has that effect, doesn't she?

Beast, Arnold and everyone you've been rockin and rollin this week!

I have missed you all SOOOO much! I can't wait to get back to the cult that I have come to LOVE and adore and see all you crazy people!

Billy Bob...Congrats on your Crossfit Certification!

Congratulations Jeremy on meeting your goals. I agree with Jolecelle--I enjoy working out with you as well-it keeps me moving.

"Beast," welcome to the world of physical accomplishments. Now, at this point, there ain't no goin back... Way to do work!

36:34(20",10WB) back in June did 18"step up and 6#WB for 31+mins. Thanks again G for grabbing my water bottle, that made my time under 37:D, Stacy thanks for the tips (i'll remember it everytime we do wall balls). Nice doing WOD with you again - Hernan & Tristan! Great job Firefighter M. and welcome to the ACF tribe!

30:39

41:02 (20" step ups and 10WB) Thanks for the push Playboy! That last round was a killer!

30 something (20", 14#)

Had to dig deep to keep up with Bravo! Thanks JB for pushing me round after round after round. Can short people get a break on those wall ball targets? Just kidding, Jim :).

Michael- you did great today. Keep working hard and everything else will come to place.

Wingman, enjoy the weekend in beautiful Cali! See you when you get back.

33:09(RX)

Good job to all the 4PM crew. Stacy and G thanks for the countdown. Tris and JA great job on the pace. Firefighter way to stick with it.

PS: Pacemakers you guys are animals. all sub 30 thats amazing

Sorry I meant Jen good pace. JA great job on all your progress.

Hernan...even on posting you're confusing me with my sister?...just kidding :D

Here's a quote from Frank Outlaw:
"Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character: it becomes your destiny."

Steph, you're definitely a keeper. Your attitude is worth catching. I'm glad you are a part of this community. Luv ya back, man! :) Now, where's the beer?

Congrats to Conor & Michael S for their first RX!

Welcome Michael Williams (aka FireFighter M)! Not your first CF WOD but not too bad for your first group CF WOD, especially with KELLY! The group environment definitely makes a big difference in intensity.

Jen, couldn't let you take a sip of water on your very last 5 reps of Wall Ball.

Good to see Jenny S back and join the 5pm crew today.

Shonda, hope to see your travelling WOD posts. Your hubby seems to be enjoying the ladies this week, LOL!

Hernan, I see progress!
