Grace, have I told you how awesome you are lately? You deserve to have one of the best WODs named after you!
Diezel, awesome job this morning! Bet you apply some strategery to your next WOD too?
Red Byron, 50 DUs? Seriously? Nice!
Amy, great to meet you. I hope you join us more often. Great job on your second crossfit workout!
And, yes I know my shorts are seriously up my butt in that picture...it was coming out of a thruster, so give me a break! Haha ;-)

Damn C-Note - 2:39... that is freakin awesome.
Check out the 2009 CF Games athlete rankings for Grace, you're 11 sec off the average. Fastest time was 1:27.

Awesome time Toe - when I did this a couple months ago I was @ 9 minutes - hopefully I will be a little faster this time :)

2:23(RX) C-note, you put a hell of a time up this morning. I had to enlist Gatekeeper to be my personal motivator/yeller to make sure I didn't slow down. Heck of a WOD, great work by the Thundercats. Matt, nice to see you go RX on this one and move fast. Good to have Toe back in the box!
C-note, you have an absolutely breath taking Heine, I mean that thing is good, I wanna be friends with it.(if you didn't know, that is a movie quote people(Jim), i'm sure i'll still get a WTF post about it though.)

I thought I was moving pretty fast and then Billy finished when I was on my 14th rep. I'd through the challenge flag on him actually doing 30 reps except that gatekeeper was right there the whole way. Awesome time Dozer.
Great job 830, fast as I could go was still a minute and a half behind everyone.

5:32 I think...105#
Good crew this morning! Enjoyed working on other things after the WOD too...thanks for the help on that crazy ass sit up machine.
Jumping rope--sadly, the only thing I'm decent at with Crossfit...but thanks C-Note!

Bryon you are great at finishing WODs right before me too - don't sell yourself short :)

I don't know if you know this but Billdozer is kind of a big deal. I mean people know him.

Happy to make the 9:30 today...yay! Awesome job today, Andi! :) I have fun doing WODs with you! Jennifer, it was good to see you!! :) Great job to everyone! Thanks again, G!!! :)
GHDs (35/35)
4:05ish (75#)...the bar had a fight with my chin which sent me into delirium...sorry for the anger, Billy...crossfit just seems to have that effect on me. Thanks for the push toward the end Gatekeeper!
Posted by: Z | November 05, 2009 at 11:57 AM
Billy, I hereby challenge you to a face-to-face version of Grace. We need a couple judges and a time and place. I bet we both go under 2:15. Nice work, BTW!
Z, you're not alone...I dropped the bar on my head this morning around rep 18. It was weird, I saw a really bright light for a bit (guess that is "seeing starts").
Posted by: C-note | November 05, 2009 at 01:05 PM
uhh, that is "stars" not "starts"...

So I got sucked into the vortex that is school today and didn't get to come, I am going to do it at Victory tonight!
Great posts everyone! Missed my T-cats:( Killer time steph.. You're right, it is motivating going into a WOD having a baseline to look at!
Posted by: Kristina | November 05, 2009 at 01:18 PM
Thanks Kristina, go get it.
Posted by: Arnold | November 05, 2009 at 01:35 PM
Okay Billy, just because I didn't get an obscure musk reference in an earlier post doesn't make that post sound less gay.
All things considered between you and Todd, it sounded reasonable that you would "miss his musk"
Lots of bromance between you two you know. I'm just sayn'
Anyway, way to drop nearly 5 minutes off you Grace time bro!

So Ben, is that how you're going to wear your shorts at our Dodgeball tournament Sat night?? We could use you as a diversion, another version of "peek-a-boo"...
Posted by: Silverback | November 05, 2009 at 01:58 PM
You know how I know you're gay?
How?
You like Coldplay
Posted by: ray | November 05, 2009 at 02:22 PM
Thanks, C-Note...hope by now you're "star" free and your head feels better! :)
Posted by: Z | November 05, 2009 at 02:39 PM
Jim, that ain't right.
I got man-crushes on every dude there (okay, that sounded way gay).
But our ACF chicks, now THAT'S another story. WOW!! (okay, that sounds way straight and better!)
See ya'll at 5.

Ok, Thundercats! I will need AAALLOOOTTT of support tomorrow. I want to try to do EVA tomorrow since I missed it AND I need to finish my 9:30 for a conference call at 10:00! I want to get over my natural dislike for running and also work off the breadpudding I ate in Louisiana. Yeah.... Lousiana is not very Paleo. :)

Ben,
I think a face to face "Grace" battle could result in both of us going sub 2 min...a battle like that could also bring about the end of the world, but its worth the risk...and it would be fun.
Jim, I can't help but miss Todd's musk, you've seen him with his shirt off.
I'm also gonna be the first to throw this out there, if you don't like it you can send it right back. I think we need to make an ACF calendar, there I said it.
Posted by: Billdozer | November 05, 2009 at 05:47 PM
i couldn't contend with the C-note and Billy-cat times, but I did RX in 2:53 so i'm pretty happy with that. Maybe a sub 3:00 min face-off?
I TGU'ed 105# today, so it looks like "Nicki Z" is gonna be the guinea pig for the first "human turkish get-up." (assuming she accepts the bid).
That would be a good pic for the September month of the calendar...

Fun working out with G and Sharon and Nick!
Great work tonight! Glad I got back to the box tonight after a brutal week at work. Always good times with the Vamps....hehehe....
You pooped in the refrigerator? And you ate the whole wheel of cheese? How'd you do that? Heck, I'm not even mad; that's amazing.

4:17 (95#) - 5 minute progress compared to last December.
Great working out next to Teach and Sharon (and Nick)! Teach, you are an animal! Thank you for keeping me going on my last 8 reps. Ray, thanks for pointing out my left arm again. Had to do a couple of redos for the stupid left arm.
Lindsey, glad you could do this metcon with us right before the San Antonio Sport of Fitness Competition! Best of luck! Go get 'em!

Had a run in with the bar and my necklace. Have a nice little gash on my chest from it too :( but not at all upset! Felt good. I think it helped doing it in front of a mirror?!?! I could see where I was struggling and fixed it. Nice job on the kips Sharon! Feels good huh?
The T-cats are all over the place.. Toe is back, but Fam is gone, I got sucked into school! Where is garret?! ahhh.. Todzilla what is a TGU'ed? Whatever it is.. it sounds good for september:)
