Ray/Todd, I'm in...when are we going to do it?
Posted by: C-note | November 20, 2009 at 11:09 AM
Dec 29th, I'm down with doing it in the morning or evening. Guess it depends on who else is in...
Posted by: ray | November 20, 2009 at 11:22 AM
30:?? (2rds of MU, 1rd of PU/PD) + About 374 failed MU attempts.
I was going to take today off but I couldn't pass on the opportunity to take a crack at a WOD with Muscle ups. 10 was about 8 more than I thought I could do. Love me some 5:30 pacesetters!! You guys are all some seriously impressive athletes.
Thanks for the encouragement Gris, Ben, Ray and Sharon, you guys rock. And thanks for the coaching Jim, JB and Grace, I think my MU is less of a flailing mess now.
Twin Sis - Way to fight it out!!! You go after things with a lot of intensity and intention... I think its rubbing off on me!!!

I'm in on Bugaboo too. Maybe this will be ACF's WOD that day (or optional WOD).

A reminder to let your loved ones know how much you care for them. Two good friends who were also coworkers, Hourt Ung and Dr. Patrick Guy, both in their early forties are having their funerals this weekend. Pat was newly remarried and totaly dedicated to his faith. Hourt is one of the most dedicated family men and has two kids and a wife. Both men lost their battle with cancer. Hourt's kids are involved in team sports and Pat was a high performing powerlifter in his thirties.

Fun WOD. Fun energy in the box. Not too happy with my performance, but I was glad to have RX'ed. This WOD needs to be a benchmark one. I want to do this one again in a month.
Sorry I can't be there tonight.

Ray - will keep the families of your friends in our prayers.
I'm in on the 29th as well.

I'm in for the 200 thrusters only if I can use that really light 10 or 15# bar :)

Finally did ALL the muscle ups in a WOD!!! Woot!! I scaled the KB and WB so that I could positively do the muscle ups. If i was really hardcore I would have gone RX :) I actually got more efficient as the WOD progressed.

Spent a good 5 minutes on the ring dips but it's all good in the name of Muscle Up progression. Will keep working on those.
Z, you're going to get a muscle-up before the year ends.
Racing Ray, my thoughts and prayers to your former colleagues.
Welcome back Jared, Crazy Carl and Kevin!
