Fun this morning...this WOD is actually more of a gasser and less heavy than it looks.
11:31 (Rx)
Stacy, this one is right up your alley. Sub 10 minute is possible for you if you're doing this WOD.
Cigars and kudos to Red Byron (for his late WOD acceleration and tie with Meathook), to Ray (for his generally badass Rx effort this morning), and to Medicine Woman G for her bag of tricks (my back isn't sore or tight at all...a bit tired is all...you are awesome!)
Great work everyone, I agree with C-Note, this one isn't as heavy as it looks. I didn't earn the Rx today, after the first set I thought about adding 20# but decided against it.
Definitely seeing progress with my strength, my 1RM for DL in April was 265# and I remember struggling with that. Thanks to all the coaches for stressing proper form/technique.
14:12 i think. RX.
Note to self: don't try to keep up with C-Note. I was gassed after the first round trying to keep with him. He blew me away on round two and three. Had just enough left to keep Henly from catching me. Nice push.
Your coworkers came up with some interesting ideas for your birfday wod C-Note. he he.
15:??(115#,14#). Ran out of gas this morning but I think my deadlift form is getting better.. Thanks Billdozer for pushing me..Great job to the thundercat girls this morning..Overall, fun wod thundercats!!!
Nice time, Billy! You have to deal with a lot more heat too.
For me, it was trying to be careful with my back on the dead lifts and then figuring out that this was more of a cardio sprint than a grinder and speeding up the runs, WB, and Burpees...
15:19 rx-women (185#DL, 14#WB-aimed for 10ft target) - Spec and JB, you guys rocked for reminding me to place the bar back down on the floor with control without dropping them on each rep. I see the gain in striving for those kinds of reps on DLs.
Gracie - Pukie will go away eventually. Hang in there. Loved your 110% effort on the burpees!
C-Note, Silverback and I are going to be late on Saturday night. We have a wedding and reception to attend beforehand. Got my money on GSP, for sure!
Awesome job everyone! All your hard work have not gone unnoticed!
14:23 (95#DL, 10#WB)
Dead lift form was terrible! I can hear the Coaches tell me to bend my knees more and I thought I was already. I guess I wasn't...
I went home and practiced over and over again. Sign me up for the next barbell class Coach G because I need it bad!
Thanks for running that last round with me Chrissy. Gracie, see you and pukie this Sunday! LOL!
Hooray, my first Rx(No pu in this wod).
The run killed me. I thought I was gonna have a coronary after the first round. Fun WOD though. Way to finish it off Jenny.
